SCRIMSHIRE ANADWO (TONITE) (FEAT. K.O.G)

Vibrant London producer Scrimshire is back with an energetic burst, having dropped the first single ‘Andawo (Tonite)’ from his 5th studio album. He wrote ‘Andawo (Tonite)’ with Ghanaian artist K.O.G, who adds his zestful vocals, whilst synth melodies weave between percussive beats, and acoustic guitar strums. K.O.G. sings about working hard and stepping out into something more positive; longing to meet up and share happiness in sunshine. Scrimshire explains, “My last album was a reawakening for me, and I’ve written more in the last year than in five before it. Anadwo represents one volume of songs that are a more positive and extroverted piece. Lockdown brought that need for energy and release forward a lot. But there is another side and more exposed feelings I’ve explored and hope to share too.” -Ellie Rose-Davies
